Summary Job Description: Echo Tech - Cardiology $10,000 sign-on bonus! Full-time, M-F, On-call required afterhours and weekends. Employees must be able to report to the hospital within 1 hour when on call. Job Description: * Responsible for the general operation of cardiac ultrasound services to include imaging for all age specific patient populations and understanding of instrumentation and quality assessment.  * Responsible for determining the need for contrast enhancement when suboptimal images are present. Requirements: * High school graduate or equivalent is required, or higher.  * Registry or Certification from a two-year allied health program. * ARDMS certification preferred within one year of employment.  * Ability to work well under stress and possess effective communication skills is required.  * BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire. * Recent Echocardiography experience required.
