This position has a starting wage of $25 per hour.  In this role, you’ll deliver care in accordance with resident service plans, communicate with medical professionals and families, and ensure residents’ safety and well-being while supporting regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do * Follow each resident’s service plan in a friendly and supportive manner, including passing medications per physician orders and Medication Administration Records * Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ conditions * Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care * Participate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room * Manage staff under your supervision during working hours * Maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training and in-service programs * Comply with the Continuous Quality Improvement program and report issues to your supervisor * Follow all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen Guidelines * Report suspected elder maltreatment or abuse to the Director of Health and Wellness, Executive Director, and/or State * Work safely and foster a safe work environment for all employees * Support teamwork, take initiative, and maintain a positive impact on residents, visitors, and coworkers * Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For * High School Diploma or GED required * Minimum one year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function * At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field * Ability to read physician orders and match them to Medication Administration Records * Understanding of medical terminology adequate to administer medications and communicate with medical professionals * Certifications as required by state * Must be 18 years or older and meet all health requirements, including TB clearance * First Aid certification required * Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to work well under pressure, resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and follow through with ideas * Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor Join Milestone to help residents maintain their health, independence, and well-being every day.
