Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What We're Looking For We hire for our core values – and we mean it: * Service – You understand that exceptional service builds trust and reputation * Integrity – You are accountable, honest, and self-aware * Innovation – You look for better ways to get the job done * Drive – You bring 100% effort and push through obstacles * Commitment – You dedicate yourself to the mission Key Responsibilities * Deter criminal activity and misconduct * Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams * Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons * Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports * Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email * Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance * Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment * Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor Qualifications Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following: * Two years of customer service experience * One year of security experience * Law enforcement experience * Corrections experience * Military experience Requirements * Valid GA Security License * Valid GA Driver's License * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test * Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email * Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance * Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands * Familiarity with report writing * Excellent surveillance and observation skills * Above-average written and verbal communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public * Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred Qualifications Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following: * Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience Compensation & Benefits * $18.00 per hour * Paid time off * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Paid holidays * Pension / retirement benefits * Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion If you want a team that invests in you, show us you're ready to invest in it.
