Responsibilities * Assist in managing anesthesia cases while collaborating with board-certified specialists and VTS technicians * Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures alongside each surgeon * Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates * Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events * Assist with operating room duties as a nurse and scrub-in technician during orthopedic surgeries * Provide comfort, advocacy, and high-quality nursing care for every patient Qualifications * Experienced Veterinary Technician, Vet Tech, CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred * Anesthesia & surgery experience required * Specialty, emergency, or critical care experience preferred * Strong patient monitoring, technical, and communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty veterinary environment * Fluent English speaking and reading skills required About PEAK Veterinary Referral Center PEAK is a 14,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art multi-specialty veterinary hospital providing care to pets throughout the region.
