Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,003-$2,126 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Rotating - Start date: 10/19/2026 - Setting: hospital ER Responsibilities - Deliver age-specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process within department standards. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the ER; respond to changes in patient condition. - Administer medications, monitor responses, and provide treatments as ordered; manage IVs, telemetry, and lab processing as needed. - Perform triage, prioritize care, and escalate to physicians or advanced practice providers during emergencies. - Collaborate with the interprofessional team; delegate tasks to other staff while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance. - Document accurately in the medical record; ensure adherence to state and federal laws, hospital policies, and patient care standards. - Apply de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm, safe environment for patients and staff.
