About Baker Optometry
Baker Optometry was started in 2019 by a dedicated team who had worked together
for many years at a prior location. Since then, it has grown steadily with three
more optometrists, additional opticians and administrative assistants. As Baker
Optometry continues to attract more patients we are in need of another
professional, caring optometrist in 2026.
We are a general practice optometry office in a university town. Our patients
span all ages including children, families, college students, working
professionals, and retirees. We have established a strong referral network with
nearby specialists for all patient needs including retina, cornea,
oculoplastics, cataract surgeons, glaucoma surgeons, etc.
Why you'll love Davis:
Davis is a great place to live, work, raise a family, and even retire. Winters
are mild. Fall and spring are beautiful. Summers can be hot but the evenings
cool off from the Delta breeze. Summer mornings are great for a walk, jog, or
bike ride along the many greenbelts and trails. The Mondavi Center at UC Davis
has great performances year-round. Sacramento is very close for an extra variety
of restaurants and entertainment. You can easily take day and weekend trips to
Napa, Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Lassen, Lake Tahoe,
Reno, Yosemite, and more.
