Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical telemetry patients, including routine assessments and timely documentation
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol
- Administer medications and IV therapies, following physician orders and safety standards
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Maintain accurate charting in the electronic medical record and ensure proper handoffs during shifts
- Float to like units and overflow areas as needed, maintaining competency on telemetry standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Massachusetts) or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Minimum of 2 years Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam; 85% passing score required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of critical paths and nursing best practices
- Willingness to float to other MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed
- Onboarding includes pass/fail ECG/Telemetry test; tests administered via Zoom with a defined passing threshold
