Responsibilities include:

• Reports to the Plant Manager and must work closely with other production management and maintenance personnel
• Must have a team-first attitude while working with other company supervisors, peers, and direct reports
• Will train all shift employees how to operate machinery and other equipment safely
• Will eliminate and report any unsafe acts and conditions in a timely manner
• Supervise production personnel and drive home a safety-first culture
• Observe machine operation to detect workplace defects or machine
• Read job specifications to determine and set-up machine adjustments and material requirements for various products
• Meet quality control requirements
• Communicate regularly with peers and consults with General/Plant Manager on all matters warranting disciplinary action
