Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for outpatient clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions appropriate for general OT care, with emphasis on orthopedic/hand therapy when applicable.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in the chart.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, activity modifications, and safety strategies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to coordinate care and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Manage caseload and scheduling while maintaining accurate documentation; may involve occasional travel to a secondary site in the nearby area.
Requirements
- Outpatient OT experience is required; orthopedic/hand therapy experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinical setting with day-shift availability.
- Willingness to travel to a secondary site in the nearby area up to a couple of days per week.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
