Corporate Accountant

Location: Corporate Office | South Sioux City, Nebraska | Hybrid Work Schedule

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with others, and making a meaningful impact? We’re looking for a Corporate Accountant with 2–4 years of professional experience to join our team!

In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while supporting key accounting and compliance initiatives across the organization. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, values strong accounting practices, and is eager to expand their technical expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Assist in preparation of state filings and regulatory reports.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)

• Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes

• Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

• 2-4 years progressive accounting experience required

• Insurance or statutory accounting experience strongly preferred

• Experience with financial statement preparation and audit coordination

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
