Ready for a job you enjoy and a team you can count on?

At Schloegel Design Remodel, we know doing good work takes more than a skilled pair of hands. It takes a team that sets you up to succeed. We sell the jobs, coordinate your schedule, and order materials so you can focus on what you do best. From exterior repairs to interior improvements, you'll put your experience to work on a variety of projects, with people you can count on when you need another hand or a second opinion.

Why Schloegel (It's about more than just the work)

With over 45 years in business, we are a leader in Kansas City's remodeling industry. But we're most proud of being named a Best Place to Work by the Kansas City Business Journal - an award based entirely on feedback from our team.

Here's what that means for you:

• We Have Fun

We take our work seriously, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun while doing it.

• We Are Engaged

We take initiative, contribute ideas, and pitch in to help each other succeed.

• We Plan for Success

We work through the details before the job starts so you know what's expected and have what you need to get it done.

Why You'll Love This Role

• Ownership from Start to Finish

You'll do the work, see the results, and build relationships with clients along the way

• Variety is the Standard

One day you're framing, the next you're setting tile or perfecting trim. You'll use your full range of skills on projects of different sizes and complexity.

• Keep Building Your Skills

You don't have to be an expert in every trade. Our experienced teammates are here to share what they know and help you build confidence in the areas you're still learning.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands-on work across multiple trades: framing, trim carpentry, drywall, tile, and light plumbing/electrical.

• Take ownership of project progress and ensure quality at every stage.

• Collaborate with your Production Manager to keep schedules on track.

• Communicate with clients and your team to keep projects running smoothly.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

• Document progress using Buildertrend (we'll provide the training).

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling

• Versatility: You're a "Swiss Army Knife" of trades, particularly skilled in rough and finish carpentry.

• Communication: You're comfortable talking to clients and teammates with clarity and respect.

• Ownership: You are organized, self-motivated, and take pride in doing things the right way the first time.

Benefits That Set Us Apart

• Starting at $26/hour, with higher starting pay based on experience.

• Company Vehicle including maintenance & fuel

• Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance

• 401(k) with Company Match

• 7 Paid Holidays + Vacation (starting after 6 months)

• Tool & Travel Allowances

• Incentive Programs & potential company-wide bonuses

• Ongoing training and certifications to support your growth
