Join Our Team as Facility Maintenance Technician!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the semiconductor industry! This hands-on role is responsible for performing mechanical equipment repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections of building systems and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining equipment and repairing a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Position: Facility Maintenance Technician

Department: Facilities / Operations

Schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday / 5:00am - 1:30pm (potential for overtime as business needs require)

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour / Paid bi-weekly / Direct Deposit

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems using schematics, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment.
• Recommend equipment and facility upgrades.
• Obtain bids and work with subcontractors on equipment repairs, facility maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergency maintenance and repairs involving equipment and facilities.
• Maintain, organize, and monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts. 
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Support a variety of projects, including new machine installations, office renovations, building repairs, and off-site facility projects.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational certification in facilities maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant hands-on maintenance experience, with strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of a variety of manual, electrical, and gas-powered hand and shop tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and coordinate effectively with internal personnel and outside contractors.
