Help residents make steady progress with the movements they rely on every day. Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Bezalel Rehab and Nursing Center in Far Rockaway, NY to deliver skilled nursing rehabilitation under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

What You'll Do

• Implement the supervising PT's treatment plan through individualized exercises and functional activities.

• Work with residents on walking, standing balance, bed mobility, and transfers.

• Reinforce safe use of prescribed mobility devices and techniques for reducing fall risk.

• Monitor treatment tolerance, follow resident-specific precautions, and report changes to the PT.

• Maintain accurate notes describing interventions, assistance provided, and residents' responses.

• Coordinate with nursing and fellow therapists to support consistent mobility practices throughout the day.

What We Offer

Qualifications

• Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant certification.

• Ability to provide attentive care within an established physical therapy plan.
