Make daily activities a meaningful part of resident recovery. Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Civita Care Center Bayview in Waterford, CT, providing hands-on occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide treatment outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist, connecting each session to residents' functional goals.

• Help residents practice personal care tasks and develop techniques for managing daily routines.

• Use prescribed exercises and purposeful activities to improve coordination, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance.

• Reinforce safe use of adaptive equipment and strategies that support independence.

• Update the OT on residents' progress, treatment responses, and changing assistance needs.

• Complete accurate session notes and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support consistent care.

Qualifications
