About the Role:
The Mechanical Engineer will provide design, technical review, and construction support for mechanical systems on USACE projects.
Location: Position is on-site (Location to be determined)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical building systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- USACE experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Federal or institutional facility experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
- Design and review HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Review controls sequences, submittals, and RFIs.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines.
- Support commissioning and functional testing.
- Perform site inspections and construction-phase reviews.
Skills:
HVAC, plumbing, mechanical design, load calculations, Revit, AutoCAD, controls, equipment selection, and construction administration.
