Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time – No Nights/Weekends
$22.50–$28/hr + $2,000 guaranteed starting bonus · One-on-one patient care · Branson, MO
🚨 BEFORE YOU APPLY 🚨
This job is for a currently licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Not a massage therapist. Not a personal trainer. Not someone planning to go to PTA school someday.
If that's not you, we sincerely wish you well in your journey elsewhere on Indeed.
Still here? Good.
PTA Wanted
For people who are tired of pretending 3 patients at once is "patient-centered care."
You already know how most job posts read:
- "Fast-paced environment."
- Translation: We are understaffed.
- "Must be an excellent multitasker."
- Translation: You'll treat three people while answering a question from a fourth.
- "Productivity-driven culture."
- Translation: Somebody who has never treated your patient will ask why your numbers were down on Tuesday.
- "Competitive compensation."
- Translation: We'd prefer not to tell you the number yet.
So let's skip all that. Starting with the number.
The money:
- $22.50–$28/hr, depending on experience.
-
$2,000 starting bonus. Guaranteed. Half at 30 days, half at 90 days.
- No production targets attached.
- No "stay 2 years or pay it back" clause.
- No fine print.
- We've seen a lot of sign-on bonuses that are really just a trap with a dollar sign on it. This isn't that. Show up, do the job, get paid.
- 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, massive employee discounts.
How we run PT:
One therapist. One patient. At the same time.
Revolutionary stuff.
- We do not routinely double-book.
- No late-night shifts. No weekends.
- Real mentorship. We want you developing clinical skills and specialties, not just running the bike.
- You are a licensed clinician, not the DPT's maid. You will be treated like a professional.
"Okay, but what's the catch?"
Fair question. But there simply is not a secret sentence at the bottom that says "1-1 care may include 3 additional patients depending upon staffing needs."
"Do you watch my metrics?"
Heck yeah, we do. We're still a healthcare business, and we expect our therapists to be productive. What we DO NOT do is worship units for the sake of units. We won't pressure you to manufacture care a patient does not need. But if a patient legitimately needs something, we trust you to provide and document it, because "I didn't want to seem pushy" is not a clinical philosophy.
However... we refuse to turn this into some bizarre Olympic event where somebody gets a medal for treating 12 patients before lunch.
"Will I go home at a reasonable hour?"
Yes. Please do.
We are big fans of employees having lives.
Spouses. Kids. Dogs. Dinner. Church. Netflix. Hiking. Staring silently at a wall for 45 minutes after working in healthcare all day. Whatever helps!!!
Who we want:
- Likes people and takes patient care seriously
- Wants to keep learning
- Can be part of a team without a corporate team-building ropes course
- Understands documentation is important, and that it isn't supposed to become your entire personality
- [New grad? That's fine. That's what the mentorship is for.]
We are not looking for a warm body with a license. Hopefully you aren't looking for just another clinic with an opening.
Here's the deal:
If you're happy treating three or four patients an hour while someone emails you a report titled "Opportunity for Improvement," this probably isn't the job for you. There are plenty of those. They appear to reproduce overnight.
But if no nights, no weekends, actual one-on-one care, a guaranteed bonus, and being treated like a professional sound pretty good, you should probably apply.
Worst case? We talk and decide it isn't a fit.
Best case? You find out outpatient physical therapy doesn't actually have to be ridiculous.
Apply. Let's talk.
