A community hospital near Sioux City, Iowa is seeking a Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team! 

Pay: $52.50 - $87.69/hour, depending on experience 

Pharmacist Opportunity: 

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position 
  
• 35-40 hours per week with a four-day weekday schedule 
  
• Rotating weekend coverage (Saturday mornings and limited Sunday coverage as needed)

Pharmacist Responsibilities: 

• Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications to ensure safe and effective patient care 
  
• Review medication orders for appropriateness, contraindications, interactions, and allergies 
  
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, benefits, and potential side effects 
  
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy outcomes 
  
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and inventory management practices 
  

Pharmacist Qualifications: 

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required 
  
• Active Iowa Pharmacist license required 
  
• Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience preferred 
  
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred, but retail pharmacy experience will be considered 
  
• Mandatory Reporter certification required within six months of employment
