We are hiring Seasonal Food Production & Packaging Associates for 1st and 2nd shifts, and we want to meet YOU!

Qualified candidates may receive a job offer during the event on Wednesday, October 21, and could start working as soon as Thursday, October 22!

NOW HIRING – 1ST & 2ND SHIFT!

OUR SEASONAL PAY INCENTIVES HAVE STARTED!

We are offering increased hourly pay rates for our seasonal production and packaging positions!

1ST SHIFT – $17.00 PER HOUR

• $15.50 base pay

• $1.50 seasonal incentive

• Total: $17.00/hour

2ND SHIFT – $18.00 PER HOUR

• $15.50 base pay

• $1.50 seasonal incentive

• $1.00 second-shift differential

• Total: $18.00/hour

The $1.50 seasonal incentive is effective October 5 through December 27, 2026. Pay rates shown include the temporary seasonal incentive. Second-shift differential applies to eligible second-shift hours.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS & SCHEDULES

We have opportunities available across multiple departments, including our Kitchen, Frosting, and Packing teams!

Because each department operates on slightly different schedules, we hire based on shift windows rather than one specific start time.

1ST SHIFT

Shift Window: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

2ND SHIFT

Shift Window: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM

IMPORTANT SCHEDULING INFORMATION:

• You will generally work an 8-hour shift within your assigned shift window.

• Your exact start and end times will depend on your assigned department and operational needs.

• Schedules cannot be customized around individual availability.

• Flexibility to work additional hours during our busy holiday season may be required.

Please make sure you are available to work within the entire shift window before registering for our hiring event.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

At Cheryl's Cookies, you'll help create, decorate, and package the delicious cookies and baked goods our customers love!

Depending on your assigned department, your responsibilities may include:

Kitchen & Baking

• Assist with preparing and producing cookies and other baked goods.

• Operate or assist with production equipment.

• Support daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Frosting & Decorating

• Frost, decorate, and finish cookies and baked goods.

• Assist with frosting machines and production lines.

• Help ensure products meet our quality and presentation standards.

Packing & Packaging

• Package cookies and baked goods for shipment.

• Label, assemble, and prepare finished products.

• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.

• Support packaging equipment and production lines.

All associates are expected to follow food safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and be flexible in supporting different production areas as business needs change.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team!

Ideal candidates will:

• Have previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or similar experience.

• Be comfortable standing and working on their feet throughout their shift.

• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Be comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Be willing to learn different responsibilities and support multiple departments.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, dress code, and workplace safety requirements.

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Be available to work their assigned schedule and additional hours as needed during peak season.

Important: This is a food manufacturing environment where employees work around common food allergens, including wheat, soy, milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to work assigned shift, including weekends and required overtime during peak seasons

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–40 lbs. as needed

• Ability to work in a food production environment and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled production and warehouse areas

• Reliable transportation to and from the Westerville facility
