Speech Therapist - IDD/Pediatric & Geriatric Home Health
(Per Visit / Fee for Service, approx. 10 visits/wk)
Pay: $80 - $100 per visit
Preferred Certified Home Care, part of the Valence Care family of home healthcare agencies, is looking for an experienced and reliable home care Speech Language Pathologist to conduct home visits in Westchester County for our IDD and geriatric patients. We are seeking STs interested in working with adult and pediatric patients, including Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) cases such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and cognitive delays. Prior IDD experience is preferred but not required. Many visits are scheduled after 3:00 PM, making this a great opportunity for therapists looking for flexible afternoon/evening hours.
The speech therapist contracted or employed through our organization provides speech therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. This may include but will not be limited to assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participation in the development of the total plan of care.
The ideal candidate would be comfortable with treating a pediatric population.
