Now Hiring: Seasonal Snow Drivers, Equipment Operators & Subcontractors

GroundSystems is seeking reliable drivers, equipment operators, and subcontractors to join our Seasonal Snow Operations Team in Dayton, Ohio.

We offer both direct-hire positions using company-owned equipment and subcontractor opportunities using your own equipment. These are part-time, temporary opportunities contingent on snowfall.

Available Positions

Direct-Hire Seasonal Positions (Company Equipment):

• Snow Driver/Operator – Operate combo trucks, sidewalk trucks, and other snow removal equipment.

Subcontractor Positions:

• Plow Truck Operator – Up to $110/hr
• Plow & Salt Combo (P/S Combo) – Up to $130/hr
• Skid Loader Operator – Up to $130/hr
• Loader Operator – Up to $275/hr
• Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew – Up to $45/hr (must provide transportation and crew)
• Snow Equipment Operator – Up to $50/hr
• CDL Snow Truck Driver – Up to $50/hr (must meet insurance requirements)

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from parking lots, sidewalks, and other areas.
• Operate snow removal equipment and apply deicing materials.
• Maintain and clean equipment as needed.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for driver positions; minimum 3 years of driving experience for drivers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in winter conditions.
• Must understand and speak basic English.
• Must follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Available 24/7 during snow events (including holidays) and able to arrive within 1 hour of dispatch.
• Must use Aspire or TimeScape (subcontractors) to log hours and document work.
• CDL not required for standard driver positions.
