About the Role
Are you an early riser with fast-food or line-prep experience looking for a quick, high-energy shift to kick off your day?
At the Eagle Cafe, our early morning shift moves fast! You’ll be managing delivery intake, firing up the kitchen equipment, prepping hot breakfast items, and serving hungry students as they start their school day. It’s a fast-paced "morning rush" environment—perfect for someone who loves to stay busy, work hard, and finish their work day before 8:30 AM!
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
Early Morning Setup & Unloading: On delivery days (Mon/Thurs), clock in early to unpack and organize incoming freezer, fridge, milk, and pantry shipments using FIFO (First In, First Out). On non-delivery days, set up gym serving stations, fill warming wells, and preheat ovens.
Breakfast Preparation: Cook and tray hot breakfast items (parfaits, burritos, sweet breads, toast) to perfection and stage them under warming lamps.
Student POS & Service (7:30 AM – 8:00 AM): Operate the point-of-sale checkout system, greet students, verify tray requirements (cereal/hot options, milk, fruit/juice), and keep the breakfast line moving smoothly.
Rapid Clean-Up & Hand-Off: Count leftover food items, update production sheets, clean and sanitize equipment/workstations, and prep the kitchen for the lunch crew before wrapping up your shift.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
Done Before 8:30 AM: Get your work hours completed early so you have the entire rest of your day free for family, school, or other commitments.
A Supportive, Respectful Team: We believe in working hard together without toxic stress or hostility. Management and team members are always available to help when challenges arise.
Fast-Paced & Engaging: The morning flies by quickly thanks to a clear, structured routine and active service period.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Background in fast food, retail stocking, food prep, or cashiering is a great match.
