Logistics Coordinator

Location: Eagan, MN (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $23-$24.50/hour

Employment Type: 6 Month Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, and administrative operations at its Eagan, Minnesota facility. This role is ideal for individuals with strong administrative, customer service, and data entry experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations, processing transactions, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams. The role also supports compliance and documentation requirements related to material movement and transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Administrative Support

• Coordinate with freight carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving transactions.
• Enter shipping and receiving information into ERP systems, including Dynamics NAV.
• Create shipping labels and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Schedule deliveries and coordinate logistics activities.
• Communicate via email, Teams, phone, and other business channels.

Data Entry & Documentation

• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Scan and organize Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and administrative documents using Laserfiche.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
• Process broker and carrier invoices and match documentation for payment.
• Manage incoming mail and package distribution.

Compliance & General Office Support

• Maintain compliance with transportation and environmental documentation procedures (training provided).
• Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and team calls.
• Support special clerical and administrative projects as assigned.
• Assist with maintaining organized records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in an office, logistics, or transportation environment.
• Strong computer proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing high-volume administrative and data entry tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or scale operations.
• Familiarity with Dynamics NAV.
• Experience using Laserfiche document management software.
• Previous logistics coordination or transportation support experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
