Job Details: Job Location: Sheridan VA Health Care System - Sheridan, WY 82801, Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly, Nursing Assistants (NAs) Needed at Sheridan VA Medical Center Wander Staffing is seeking three (3) Nursing Assistants (NAs) to provide on-site inpatient support to Veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. LOCATION Sheridan VA Medical Center (Sheridan VA Health Care System), 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801 (100% on-site) COMPENSATION Day Shift: $22/hr Night $24/hr Weekend/Holiday: $26/hr W2 position Paid sick leave (1 hour per 30 worked, up to 56 hours/year), Paid vacation and 11 paid federal holidays SCHEDULE Full-time: 80 hours every two weeks (not counting holidays) The VA operates 24/7. Shifts are primarily 12 hours (some units offer 8-hour shifts) and may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, varying by unit The VA may change duty hours to meet patient care needs, with 24 hours’ notice Shift times pending answers from the government CONTRACT DETAILS 5-year contract. Anticipated start December 1, 2026 pending VA credentialing Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and Wander Staffing. As with any position, if life requires you to leave, please provide a 60-day notice. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS BLS Minimum six (6) months of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years; Before your first shift: negative TB test (TST or IGRA) within the past year (chest x-ray if positive); MMR and varicella immunity; Tdap; annual flu vaccine (or masking); Hepatitis B immunity or series started; Hepatitis C titer Able to pass a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) background investigation and obtain a VA PIV card; eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify); not listed on the HHS OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities HOW TO APPLY Interested and qualified NAs are submitted with our proposal, and the Government selects its preferred NAs as part of the process Please email your resume, BLS, immunization records (TB, MMR, varicella, Tdap, flu, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C), and employee health record to Rachel McGee at Rachel.McGee@WanderStaffing.com Questions?
