Job Description
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to provide quality care and support to clients in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and surrounding communities.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who enjoys helping others, understands the importance of personalized care, and is committed to promoting clients' comfort, safety, and independence.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, as appropriate.
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Follow individualized care plans and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Treat every client with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience required.
- Previous experience in home care or senior care preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Must meet applicable background screening and hiring requirements.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Stone Mountain, GA, and surrounding areas
- Availability to work the scheduled hours consistently is required.
