YOUR WORK MAKES A DIFFERENCE

As a Home Instead CNA, you’ll help older adults maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life at home.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing hands-on personal care and assistance with hygiene
• Monitoring and reporting vital signs
• Offering medication reminders
• Promoting client safety and fall prevention
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands
• Observing and reporting changes in clients’ conditions

FLEXIBLE SHIFT OPTIONS

We offer a variety of scheduling opportunities to help meet your needs while providing consistent care to our clients.

• Part-time positions available with the option for full-time hours
• Shifts generally range from 4 to 12 hours
• Shift start times between approximately 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM
• Occasional overnight opportunities available
• Some weekend availability is required

WHERE WE’RE HIRING

We’re looking for CNAs to serve clients in:

Portsmouth, Middletown, Tiverton, Bristol, Newport, Charlestown, East Greenwich, Wakefield, North Kingstown, Westerly, and surrounding Rhode Island communities.

The more flexible you are with your availability and driving radius, the more opportunities may be available!

QUALIFICATIONS

To join our team, candidates must have:

• An active Rhode Island CNA license
• Current CPR certification
• Up-to-date required immunization and physical examination documentation, including MMR, Varicella, influenza, COVID-19, Tdap, PPD/TB screening, Hepatitis B, and physical examination records, as applicable to program and facility requirements
• A valid driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle
• Willingness to travel approximately 30 minutes to a client's home
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Strong English communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to successfully complete required drug screening, criminal background screening, and BCI check
