What you’ll do

• Greet guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out
• Answer phones and make and confirm reservations taken by phone and online
• Assign rooms, issue keys, and offer help with luggage
• Post charges, review bills with guests, and collect payments
• Sell rooms to walk-in guests and know our rates, packages, and parking options
• Share recommendations for local dining, shopping, entertainment, and directions
• Work with housekeeping and maintenance to keep room status accurate and fix guest issues quickly
• Handle guest concerns with care: listen, apologize, solve the problem, and follow up
• Balance your cash drawer, keep daily logs, and keep the front desk area neat

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma
• 1–2 years of hotel front desk experience preferred
• Experience with a hotel reservation system (like RoomKey) is a plus
• Comfortable with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google apps
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work on your own
• A positive attitude and a real love of helping people
• Available for 1st and 2nd shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours, bend and reach often, and lift up to 40 lbs

• Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 / hr
