<h1>How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:</h1>This position is located at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital (CRBH) in Lexington, VA, working full time, evening/night with every other weekend and holiday requirements. $20K Sign On Bonus Available for experienced RNs The RN provides professional nursing care to patients across all age groups, supporting patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This role collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient outcomes.

The RN<ul><li>Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.</li><li>Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.</li><li>Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support development of care plans.</li><li>Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.</li><li>Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in electronic medical records.</li><li>Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs.</li><li>Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives.</li><li>Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs.</li><li>Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.</li><li>Demonstrates clinical expertise in dynamic and changing care environments.</li><li>Implements strategies to improve patient outcomes and resource utilization.</li><li>Serves as a role model and supports development of peers and team members.</li><li>Manages resources, prioritizes tasks, and adapts to changing patient care needs.</li><li>Supports orientation and training of new employees.</li><li>Uses problem-solving skills to address patient care and operational challenges.</li><li>Provides feedback and participates in shared decision-making activities.</li><li>Supports education activities within the department.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality and complies with regulatory and organizational standards.</li></ul>

<h1>What We Require:</h1>Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required. Experience: None. Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required. Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area. Other Minimum Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records. For Behavioral Health roles, must demonstrate ability to safely manage disruptive or potentially violent patients. Compensation Range:$33.52 - $50.28Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
