$39–$42/hr · Paid weekly · Brand-new 12-yard Vermeer VXT500 · Home most nights
We're a Wisconsin fiber construction company. We just bought a brand-new Vermeer VXT500 hydrovac and need an experienced operator to run it. This is your truck.
What you get
- $39–$42/hour based on experience, paid every week
- Brand-new 12-yard Vermeer VXT500 — not someone else's worn-out unit
- Mostly Green Bay–Appleton. Some day trips to Milwaukee and Janesville. Home most nights
- Steady fiber and drilling work, not random call-outs
- We pay for OSHA 10, First Aid and Vermeer training on the new truck
- Health, dental and vision insurance
- Paid time off, paid holidays and overtime
- Small company — you're the hydrovac expert here, not a number
What you'll do
- Pothole and daylight utilities ahead of our directional drills
- Record depth and location of what you find for the drill crew
- Clean up drill mud and help respond if a bore leaks fluid
- Daily pre-trips, maintenance and cold-weather care on the truck
- Haul and dump spoils only at approved sites
- Help the crew when the vac isn't running
What you need
- CDL Class A or B with no air-brake restriction and tank (N) endorsement
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
- Clean Clearinghouse record — pass DOT drug test and full query
- 2+ years running a hydrovac, 12-yard or larger
- References from past employers we can verify
- Know how to work safely around marked utilities under Diggers Hotline tickets
Big plus: potholing for HDD crossings · winter operation · Class A CDL
