Schedule: PRN / On-Call – with Weekend Availability
Pay: $50.00/HR - $55.00/HR, based on licensed experience

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to provide primarily weekend coverage for resident evaluations. Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents to determine their therapy needs, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans. This role plays an important part in identifying residents who may benefit from occupational therapy, supporting functional improvement, and contributing to successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assess residents’ functional abilities, needs, and rehabilitation potential.

• Identify residents who may benefit from occupational therapy intervention.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on each resident’s needs.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established treatment plans.

• Monitor resident progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.

• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care.

• Participate in discharge planning and make recommendations to promote safe transitions and continued functional progress.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, treatment records, and billing information.

• Meet established productivity expectations while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing, as required by the state of Louisiana.

• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

• Availability to provide PRN weekend coverage.
