JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC
- Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC or have started processing
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency in UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, intubations; Epic EMR proficiency; team-based care
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily care of neonates in Level II NICU
- APP’s work in collaboration with the MD’s but it is the APP that oversees the daily care of the babies
- Collaborate with attending physicians for patient management
- Perform procedures including UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
- Provide care for newborns in the nursery as needed
- Document patient care in Epic EHR
