Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant -1 (Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available)

Pay: $19 - 24 / hour (Based on experience) 

Shifts Available in Comprehensive Care Unit: 
     Part-Time Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every other weekend
     Part-Time Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every other Mon, Fri, and weekend

Shifts Available in Assisted Living Unit: 

     Part-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Tuesday & Fri

Shifts Available in Memory Care: 

     Full-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other weekend, Mon & Fri; Every Tues, Wed, Thurs
     Part-Time (CNA-1/CMT): Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every other Weekend

Blakehurst is recruiting for hospitality focused Certified Nursing Assistants-1 to join our team. 

 Essential Job Duties:

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, positioning, turning, exercising, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Leaders, and the Director of Nursing when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA-1.
• Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.
