The YMCA of Greater Londonderry is looking for part-time enthusiastic Leaders for our Middle School afterschool program located at the Gilbert H. Hood Middle School in Derry, NH.
 
Responsibilities: 

We are looking for someone who will create, implement and most importantly, participate in activities, crafts, games, fun challenges and team builders for our students. You do not have to be an expert in these activities - but you DO have to enjoy being part of the fun! We are seeking energetic and creative individuals to provide high quality care and keep our middle school students in 6th-8th grade engaged.

Your role will include facilitating small group activities, modeling & reinforcing our 4 core character values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility throughout the program as well as provide a safe environment for all the middle school students at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School in Derry, NH.
 
Qualifications: 

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with youth and/or customer service is preferred.
Credits in Education, Sports Management or Hospitality are preferred or if you are currently enrolled in college level courses in any of those majors are welcome.

Background Check Required.
 
Position Specifics: 

• Opportunities available to continue working through summer and the following school year.
• Shifts are 2:00-5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Pay range $15-18 per hour depending on experience/qualifications.
