Pay: $18.50–$20.00 per hour
10:00 PM–6:00 AM | 24 hours per week
Please review the schedule before applying. This position requires all three overnight shifts every week, starting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 PM and ending the following morning at 6:00 AM.
Maris Pointe is seeking a compassionate, dependable Medication Technician to join our overnight care team. Help our residents feel comfortable and supported while working a consistent three-night schedule in a welcoming senior living community.
Assist residents with medications according to physician orders, Florida requirements, and community policies.
Provide care based on each resident’s individualized care plan.
Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions.
Document medication assistance, care, observations, incidents, and communications before the end of each shift.
Share important resident information with the incoming shift.
Assist with assessments and care plans as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
Medication assistance training or certification that meets Florida requirements.
Ability to reliably work every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care.
One year of related experience preferred; senior living experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and meet the position’s physical requirements.
