Our approach combines design, planning, and construction to create a smooth experience from the initial concept through project completion.
We are looking for a Superintendent with residential remodeling experience who takes ownership of field operations, thinks independently, and can keep projects moving through clear communication, practical decision-making, and strong follow-through.
About the Role
The Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day field execution on residential remodeling projects. This person coordinates subcontractors, manages construction sequencing, monitors workmanship, and ensures the job site remains organized, safe, and aligned with the project schedule and plans.
The ideal candidate is organized and methodical but flexible when conditions change. They can anticipate field challenges, make sound day-to-day decisions, and turn project plans and leadership direction into clear, actionable next steps for the people doing the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations: Oversee job-site activities and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and material availability.
- Keep projects on schedule: Monitor progress against the construction schedule, identify potential delays, and coordinate next steps to keep work moving.
- Coordinate subcontractors: Communicate expectations, confirm readiness for upcoming work, and follow up on commitments and deadlines.
- Maintain quality standards: Inspect completed and ongoing work, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrections are addressed before work progresses.
- Solve problems proactively: Make sound day-to-day decisions, resolve field issues within your authority, and escalate significant concerns with recommended solutions.
- Follow plans and specifications: Work from construction drawings, project documents, and applicable building codes and requirements.
- Manage materials and site readiness: Coordinate material needs, deliveries, access, and site conditions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site: Promote safe work practices, cleanliness, and appropriate site organization throughout construction.
- Communicate project status: Keep leadership informed about progress, schedule risks, quality concerns, and decisions requiring attention.
- Support the client experience: Maintain professionalism in occupied homes and communicate respectfully with homeowners when coordination is needed.
- Document project activity: Keep accurate records of site progress, issues, deficiencies, and relevant construction updates.
Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and job-site safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across active projects.
- Good judgment and practical problem-solving skills, including the ability to make timely decisions in the field.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to hold trade partners accountable professionally.
- Reliable follow-through, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
