Billing Coordinator

Full Time | Days

Pay: $19 - $21/hour (Based on Experience)

What will I do as a Billing Coordinator?

• Register & maintain census information for LifeQuest Nursing Center, Mosser Nursing Home and LifeSpan Daycare.
• Bill LifeQuest entity accounts to insurance (Medicaid, & other insurance's) and self pay patients adhering to contracts, policies and procedures.
• Post cash on accounts.
• Follow-up and collections on billings for LifeQuest Nursing Center and Mosser Nursing Home.
• Prepare statistical information as assigned(Medicare Credit Balances)
• Assists in other Billing Representative's functions as needed.
• Ability to operate office equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare deposits.
• Prepare Cost Reports.
• Insurance Verifications.
• Reconcile Resident Trust Funds.
• Prepare Medicaid Reserve Report.
• Prepare UMR Audit and participate in the review.
• Responsible for reviewing Aged-Trial Balance.

What is required as a Billing Coordinator?

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and third party reimbursement
• Strong computer skills
• Office skills (typing, filing & calculator)
• Organizational skills
• Pleasant & professional telephone skills
• Ability to perform job with a minimum of direct supervision
• Ability to work with medical terminology
• Knowledge of Accounts Payables / Receivables
