As our Director of Preconstruction, you'll ean a competitive salary of $150,000-$185,000 per year, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus tied to margin performance on the jobs you estimate, a company vehicle and fuel card, and the opportunity to take your career to the executive level as the company continues to expand. DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

• Valid driver's license
• 7+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or underground utility construction
• Federal bid experience, including USACE projects
• Experience building estimates from production rates, not just unit pricing
• Ability to obtain military base access

Experience with HCSS HeavyBid is strongly preferred.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A DIRECTOR OF PRECONSTRUCTION?

This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work required around bid deadlines.

As Director of Preconstruction, you'll review production-driven estimates for a major water or sewer project and collaborate with your Project Administrator and Project Engineer to prepare upcoming bids. You'll manage the bid calendar, attend pre-bid meetings and site walks across North Carolina and South Carolina, evaluate project opportunities, and provide bid/no-bid recommendations directly to ownership. You'll also build and refine estimating tools, cost databases, equipment rates, templates, and processes that strengthen operational performance.
