If so, great news - QA1 is looking for a talented Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer to join our Lakeville, MN based team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products that not only meet but exceed industry expectations. As a member of the QA1 team, you’ll be responsible for executing core quality‑control activities to ensure consistent, compliant, and high‑quality product output. This role works closely with the Quality team to program Hexagon CMM and OGP Vision‑System equipment, design and print 3D printed fixtures, perform gage calibration, document inspection results, and verify product quality. The CMM Programmer helps ensure all products meet or exceed QA1 Brand standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm with overtime pending business need.

What You Will Do:

• Program CMM equipment for component inspection.
• Development fixture/work holding for CMM components and Smart Scope.
• Program Smart Scope/vision‑system equipment for component inspection.
• Assist the Quality Engineer with verification of inspection results.
• Document inspection results and complete required quality reports accurately and timely.
• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations.
• Inspect purchased and manufactured products as assigned.
• Verify manufactured components and assemblies for compliance with engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, and work instructions accurately.
• Use precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
• Train others on the proper use of inspection tools and equipment, as needed.

• Must have the ability to exert yourself physically for a ten-hour shift; must be able to walk/stand for duration of assigned shift in intervals of 4-5 hours.

• See and communicate with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions;
• Must be alert and aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently.

Work Environment: 

The work environment for this position is a combination of office and manufacturing settings. As QA1 is a manufacturer and distributor of products and supplies, the incumbent will be exposed to various temperatures, fumes, and loud noise in the manufacturing setting. Due to regular time spent on the manufacturing floor, the incumbent must be able to tolerate some exposure to these workplace characteristics. The incumbent must also follow company safety procedures.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
