About the Role:
Angel Mercy Caregivers LLC is looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our dedicated care team in Glen Burnie, MD. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to clients accurately and in accordance with prescribed orders and state regulations
- Document medication administration and report any changes in client condition to supervising staff
- Monitor clients for medication side effects, reactions, or changes in health status
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication administration records (MARs)
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, clients, and families
- Ensure medication storage and handling complies with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Current and valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in the state of Maryland
- Prior experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or required per state guidelines
- Excellent observational, documentation, and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and client-centered approach to caregiving
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends
