Hearing Aid Technician
Hearing Unlimited | Western Pennsylvania
Full-Time | Floating role across North Huntingdon, Harmarville & Penn Hills
Please note: this is a floating position. You will travel regularly between our North Huntingdon, Harmarville, and Penn Hills offices. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required. If working across these three locations isn’t the right fit for you, this likely isn’t the role — and that’s okay.
About the Role:
Hearing Unlimited is looking for a patient-focused Hearing Aid Technician to keep our patients hearing their best. You’ll clean and maintain hearing aids, troubleshoot devices, pair Bluetooth accessories, and deliver an excellent experience at every visit while supporting our provider team across three offices.
What You’ll Do:
• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot hearing aids, including in-office repairs when possible.
• Pair hearing aids with phones, accessories, and other Bluetooth devices.
• Perform Otoset ear cleanings, dome changes, firmware updates, and video otoscopy.
• Counsel patients on proper device use and daily wear.
• Manage supplies and keep each workspace clean and organized.
• Support office managers and providers, and help patients get the most from their devices.
Grow With Us:
This role rewards initiative. Beyond your base pay, you’ll earn commission on accessories, warranties, and services you generate, plus bonuses for patient referrals and upgrade appointments you help create. The more you help patients, the more you earn.
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent; training in hearing aid support or audiology assistance is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required for travel between offices).
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent people skills.
• Comfort with hearing aid technology and Bluetooth devices preferred.
• A genuine, patient-centered attitude.
Why Hearing Unlimited:
We’re a growing, locally trusted hearing healthcare practice with five offices across Western Pennsylvania. We invest in our people, value teamwork, and care deeply about our patients’ quality of life.
We offer a competitive hourly rate along with paid holidays, paid time off, healthcare and a retirement plan.
