Chief Executive - North Puget Sound
Everett, Washington
Full time |

The Chief Executive (CE), North Puget Sound, is the senior accountable executive for the strategic, operational, clinical, financial, cultural and community performance of the local care network. Reporting to the North Division Chief Executive, the CE translates division and enterprise direction into an integrated local strategy and ensures disciplined execution across acute care, ambulatory care, medical group partnerships, clinical programs, shared services, philanthropy and community-facing activities.

The CE leads through a highly matrixed operating model and builds a unified leadership culture across Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Swedish Edmonds, Swedish Mill Creek, and the medical groups. The role establishes clear accountability for safe, high-quality, compassionate care; access and growth; patient and caregiver experience; financial sustainability; workforce performance; regulatory readiness; and service to communities, especially people who are poor and vulnerable.

A central expectation is effective partnership with the executive team for the medical groups. The CEO and medical group leaders jointly align market strategy, physician and advanced practice clinician engagement, recruitment, access, referral pathways, ambulatory growth, clinical quality, service-line development and the transition of patients across care settings. The CE also represents Providence as a trusted executive partner for boards, physicians, caregivers, donors, community leaders, and other external stakeholders.
