About the Role:
North Point Senior Homecare is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregivers to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and errands
- Monitor and document changes in client health, behavior, or condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Administer medication reminders and assist with daily medication management
Requirements:
- Current caregiver certification or CNA license in the state of Virginia
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, or holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
