We're looking for a caring, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Manassas, VA team. You'll work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them develop life skills, explore their interests, participate in community activities, and achieve personal goals.

You don't need years of DSP experience to make a difference. If you have relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities, enjoy working with people, and want to do meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Make everyday moments meaningful: Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and essential life skills as needed.
• Encourage independence: Help individuals build confidence, make choices, and work toward their personal goals.
• Create positive experiences: Participate in recreational activities, community outings, social events, and other engaging experiences.
• Support personal growth: Encourage individuals to explore their interests, learn new skills, and celebrate their achievements.
• Build meaningful connections: Communicate and collaborate with families, caregivers, supervisors, and other support team members.
• Promote safety and dignity: Follow individualized service plans and help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Keep accurate records: Complete required documentation and communicate important updates to the team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is patient, trustworthy, attentive, and passionate about helping others succeed.

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the community as required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks.

New to DSP work? That’s okay. If you have experience in caregiving, education, customer service, coaching, human services, or another people-focused role, your skills may transfer well to this position.
