As a Facility Housekeeping Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our YMCA facilities clean, comfortable, and ready for action. From maintaining spotless spaces to helping prepare for exciting programs and special events, your work will help create a positive experience for members, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do

• Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and free of trash.
• Prepare rooms and spaces for meetings, programs, and special events.
• Assist with laundry and other facility needs.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums and floor buffers.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and storage areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper procedures.
• Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and housekeeping emergencies.
• Help ensure our facilities remain safe, inviting, and ready for everyone!

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant housekeeping or custodial experience.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and floor care.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• A positive attitude and pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming!
