Job Description
As a Senior Analyst on our Order Experience team, you’ll play a crucial role in translating system and process-driven issues into actionable insights, working with technology partners and developing effective processes to resolve or minimize issues. This includes leading ongoing process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Conveying key messages through data analysis will be a significant portion of the role. Additionally, this role will require you to be curious in nature, to be comfortable with ambiguity, and to have a strong attention to detail with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities across various tasks.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on site at an approved Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do
- Manage the customer experience, open orders and key performance indicators through data analytics and trend analysis
- Provide guidance on the daily processes, analytics and project management; collaborate to ensure optimal order experience for both internal and external customers
- Identify and communicate process and system gaps, working with analysts to achieve optimal outcomes
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure process execution; assist partners in understanding order experience processes.
- Attend cross-functional meetings, bringing in subject matter experts as needed, providing after-hours support when necessary
- Demonstrate leadership within the team and with partners, helping alleviate roadblocks and facilitating effective problem solving
- 2 years of experience in order management, supply chain, retail or analytics
- 1 year of experience building proficiency in reporting skills, including utilization of SQL, Power Pivot, Power Query, Google Cloud, Big Query or other data transformation tools
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
- Experience managing timelines and cross-functional team action items in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize business needs and effectively articulate them to partners
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of experience working with data, analyzing complex data and creating translatable solutions for leadership
- 1 year of experience working independently while influencing team efforts, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and lead initiatives while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound inquiries
- Proficiency in SQL
- Possess a solid understanding of project management principles, including the ability to plan, execute and monitor projects effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
