About the Opportunity

HotShot Restoration is seeking dependable, hardworking General Construction Technicians to join our team for an upcoming construction project expected to last approximately three months.

This is a temporary, project-based position ideal for individuals with general construction experience who are comfortable performing hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

There may be opportunities to extend employment beyond the initial project based on additional work availability and business needs; however, continued employment is not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction, demolition, and job site preparation.
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and other construction-related tasks as assigned.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist skilled technicians and supervisors with daily project tasks.
• Follow job site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous general construction or construction labor experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing job site needs.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.

Position Duration & Employment Expectations

This position is being hired specifically to support a construction project anticipated to last approximately 3 months.

Employment is expected to conclude upon completion of the project unless additional work becomes available and the company determines there is an ongoing staffing need.

While there is potential for continued employment, this is not a guaranteed permanent position, and the anticipated project duration is an estimate rather than a guarantee of employment for three months.
