Executive Producer
Sydney, New South Wales
Full Time |

Mamamia is Australia's largest independent women's media group and our core purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls. We reach seven and a half million women each month across written, video and social platforms and we have the largest women's podcast network in the world with 55 different shows.

About the role:

You Beauty is where Australia's beauty obsessives come for honest reviews, expert advice and the products everyone will be talking about next. Now we're looking for the Executive Producer who'll make every episode unmissable, on screen and in your ears.

As Executive Producer, You'll report to the Head of You Beauty and take each episode from first idea to final cut. You'll shape the conversation, direct the shot and make sure every serum, swatch and texture looks as good as it sounds.

This role is Sydney-based and hybrid (1 day/week WFH).

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

  • Taking every episode from ideation to publish, without missing a drop
  • Writing sharp host briefs and scripts, with show-and-tell moments built for camera
  • Producing in the room: keeping it on brief, calling pick-ups and getting the product close-ups
  • Shaping a premium, beauty-led 4K edit and signing off the final cut
  • Booking guests who make people press play, from experts and founders to creators
  • Being the hosts' go-to creative partner and making them even better on mic and on camera
  • Turning episodes into must-click titles, thumbnails, clips and Shorts
  • Bringing brand partnerships to life without compromising the show's editorial voice
  • Keeping everything compliant, from TGA rules to disclosure

Now a bit about you:

  • 5+ years producing TV, video, radio or podcast
  • You know a great shot when you see it, and how to fix a cut that isn't working
  • Hosts and guests trust you, and you give feedback that actually lands
  • You genuinely love beauty and know what our audience wants before they do
  • You have sound editorial judgement and a working knowledge of TGA rules, or you can get across them quickly
  • You're calm under pressure and own your deadlines
  • You think commercially and write brilliantly
