Join Design Tanks, LLC in Sioux Falls, SD as our next full-time Inside Sales and Project Manager, where you'll play a key role in guiding customer projects from initial inquiry through shipment. This exempt position offers the opportunity to combine customer relationship management, project coordination, technical review, and inside sales responsibilities while working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Schedule: This is a full-time Inside Sales and Project Manager position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

All that you need is:

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, project management, customer service, manufacturing, or a related role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and CAD drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
• Experience with technical products, industrial equipment, or custom manufacturing environments (preferred)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineered products (preferred)
• Associate's degree in business, engineering technology, construction management, or a related field (preferred)

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR INSIDE SALES AND PROJECT MANAGER?

As an Inside Sales and Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and production process. You will respond to customer inquiries, follow up on quotations and project opportunities, and analyze customer requirements to identify appropriate product solutions. Throughout the day, you will develop quotations, communicate project updates, and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive service. You will manage projects from quotation through shipment, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service to keep projects moving forward. You will review customer specifications, technical requirements, CAD drawings, and engineering documents while collaborating with internal teams to clarify product configurations and production needs. In addition, you will coordinate freight quotes and logistics activities, monitor project status, address issues that could affect schedules or costs, maintain accurate project records, participate in project review meetings, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to quoting, order processing, and customer communications.
