Qualifications -
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred
- At least one year of graphic design in a production environment
- Very strong verbal and writing communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong digital content skills
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Previous sign or print industry experience preferred
- Photo touch up, straightening/scaling experience preferred
- Experience with roll to roll printers preferred
- Strong skills with Pantone, CMYK color space, ICC profiles and color management preferred
- Production sign skills, i.e., weeding, masking, vinyl application, vehicle graphics application preferred
- Graphics or production management skills preferred
Responsibilities -
- Collaborate with team members and customers on designs, proofs, and upload proofs to sales system
- Maintain design template library with common artwork and logos
- Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction
- Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to production
- Perform customer logo maintenance and sourcing
- Work on different projects simultaneously
- Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments
