Sheet Metal Journeyman

Location: Moscow, ID

Compensation: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience Schedule: 40 hours weekly, 4-Day Workweek Available

Legacy Heating & Cooling is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our commercial HVAC team in Moscow, Idaho. This position is ideal for an experienced sheet metal professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is ready to play an important role on a large-scale commercial HVAC project. You'll have the opportunity to work with an experienced team, take ownership of critical installation work, and contribute your knowledge and experience while building your career with a growing company.

What We're Looking For

• At least four years of sheet metal and/or commercial ductwork experience
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC duct systems and installation practices
• Ability to install ductwork accurately and efficiently
• Comfortable reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a crew and take on leadership responsibilities
• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
• EPA is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Consistent focus on workplace safety and professional workmanship

What You Will Do

• Perform commercial ductwork installation and sheet metal work
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and installation details
• Measure, lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and associated HVAC components
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of completed installation work
• Assist with coordinating daily activities and maintaining project momentum
• Work closely with other installers, technicians, supervisors, and project leadership
• Help troubleshoot installation challenges and find practical solutions
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, customers, and other project personnel
• Provide guidance and technical support to other members of the installation team when needed
