Position Summary: The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, lifecycle, and commercial performance of one or more product categories within Grote's commercial vehicle portfolio. This role requires deep familiarity with physical product environments — electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and lighting applications in transportation are preferred backgrounds. The ideal candidate brings rigorous product thinking to a hardware-centric world, without defaulting to software frameworks that do not translate to our category.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with a minimum of five years of product management experience in physical or hardware-based product categories. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical systems, wiring harnesses, or vehicle lighting products within the transportation, commercial vehicle, automotive, or related industrial markets. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing products throughout the full product lifecycle, from market research and product definition through launch, growth, and end-of-life management. Strong analytical and financial acumen is essential, including experience developing pricing strategies, margin analyses, SKU profitability assessments, and business cases. This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams to define product requirements and support new product development, as well as exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with technical teams, customers, sales organizations, and executive leadership.
